Maternity is one of my favorite sessions that I love to photograph. A gift, new life is forming in a woman's body. The changes and mood swings can be overwhelming, and despite that all, I believe it is beautiful and should be captured for families to treasure. I have purchased new dresses for my maternity clients, as I know how hard it is to find something to wear, when your body changed. I want my clients to feel beautiful, so I decided to offer complementary wardrobe. I needed to have them photographed, so my clients could visualize the dresses and colors they could wear. I made a model call and Stephanie contacted me. She was a first time mom-to-be, and was so excited about becoming a mom to her new baby. I asked her about color choices and told her about the locations I had in mind. The day of our session, she brought her husband to enjoy those special moments together. I usually give directions about posing to my clients, as I know how hard and stressful it is to not know what to do. I talk to my clients so they get to know me, and can relax around me. I like to capture their genuinity. With Stephanie and her husband I had no problem, they were natural.
